Mic Problems with TF2!

Ok first of all I have no problems with my Mic on TS or anything else

I have a Plantronics 350. Headphones(I think)
SupremeFX II sound Card
SoundMax Drivers


Ok when I go ingame my Microphone works but pick up background noise clearly but when a speak it goes to mass Static can anybody help

Have you tried messing around in the "Voice" menu under options?
Enabling/Disabling Microphone boost, adjusting the transmit level etc.

You weren't very clear, but it sounds like you probably have the mic levels too high. If it picks up background noises clearly, there is a good chance your voice will be WAY too loud.

Go to your control panel, find the sound panel, then find your microphone. Right click, view the properties, and there should be a tab to adjust the levels. Try lowering it, then restarting TF2.
