Ok I've a few questions, first these are the specs of the PC:
From DxDiag:
Now I want to know how how I would find out the graphics card memory? E.g. you can get cards like 8800GTS 512mb or 8800GTS 128mb etc. - Is it the Dedicated memory? Meaning my 8600 GT has 512mb? (Because 2gb seems huge and unreal for an 8600)
How would I "revert" back to DX9.0c or "install" DX9.0c? I couldn't find a DX9.0c download on the microsoft directx list, only lots of SDKs and Redists - unless thats what I need?
Can running two different cards via SLi work? e.g. I have an old 6800 Ultra 256mb or something which I'm sure supports Sli - so would I benefit running my current setup to add the old card in or leave it out?
I read one of Alex98uk's post about 8600's needing to have there bios updated? How would I do that?
On my index subscore in vista I get 4.8 for my Ram... but on my other PC which only has 2gb of RAM I get 5.2 for the subscore. So either I have slower clock speeds for the 4gb RAM on this PC or somethings wrong with them... how would I go about checking the speed and finding out if there is anything wrong?
Should I install AGIEA PhysX, and if I do would I need to install each driver or just the latest version of it?
Also, with my current PC setup, I'm running Vista 64 bit home premium version, should I install Vista Business - and if so should I stick with 64 bit or 32 bit with my current PC?
(I guess these questions might help others too?)
