What does this bs mean?



i have been trying to download something for the last 3 hours.. no matter where i go to download it i always get this same godamn error!!

It means that the server has reset the connection. This can through bad or corrupt packets, timeouts, a dodgy server, data throttling.... anything.

Is it just that server?

no its every server i have tried like 5 of them! even from other sites!

And i quote, "contact support to check if there's any maintenance ongoing or any reports similar to what you are experiencing right now. If they do, you may ask for a temporary solution."

ISP's sometimes break. If it hasn't happened before, wait it out.

My internet is always broked!.. remember my other post on " lazy internet".. i bet its a relative issue!.. Maybe its my pc

Have you got other computers on the same line to test?

yeah, but im too lazy.. I will have to worry about it when i could be bothered.. too many pc problems atm to worry about. Im soo sick of computers!

EDIT: Anyone have a GOOD source i can download the spore trial from?

I think you need to consider changing internet providers.

No we just did TPG is one of the best in Australia, if not THE best.. Im going to get my pc fixed soon, if it still happens after that then ill call my isp and sort it out.

Could also be a router/modem issue have you checked those out?

It means that you should be running Firefox not IE?
