    Hawkers is my test subject. He can't connect. I have done all the relevant business in the server to open it up but he can't connect

        That would make things easier!

        Try putting it in the DMZ and have hawkers connect to rule out problems with your server. You may have to delete the rule you just made to avoid confusing the router

        Eh, this is a "for dummies" question, but he is not trying to reach 192.168.1.7, is he?

          Might help putting your computer in the DMZ.

          And remember, if you give Porkers a IP to connect to, it has to be your external one (www.portforward.com) and not your internal one which is usually 192.168.x.x
