im looking to build a PC used for gaming, budget all sites must be within the uk, and i will be need a tower unit and monitor(doesnt need to be the best but about 17"/19"
Had money problems since previous list and found out my monitor is on the frits, so a new list would be appreciated

650 quid, thats not bad at all mate, i will try to set up a list, is multiple (UK) websites fine? i.e. orderingfrom more than one web OR would you just prefer to order from one website? Thanks.

Excellent selection, the only thing I would change is the CPU cooler (to a Tuniq Tower), but that's not that big of a deal.

yeh i would as well but scan.co.uk dont sell the tuniq..And its closest rival is the TRUE...I also included a Noctua fan for it as well..So it should perfrom as good/better than tuniq...

I agree with Jake, Hellsent has picked out a brilliant selection :) the cooler is fine, i mean i would have went with a AC7 Pro to save me some $$ or get a Tuniq.

All in all the selection is rather excellent

Spark approves of Hellsent's list.

TRUE beats Turniq anyday. Xigmatek HDT-1283/4 for best performance to money. Dunno if Scan has it though.

Slight oversight by everyone. Hellsent selected the X-Fi XtremeAudio. It does not use an actual X-Fi chip, but instead an old Audigy one. If you want proper X-Fi and EAX 5.0/HD support in games, you need a OEM X-Fi XtremeGamer
