    Components (DVD Drive). Need help picking one please.

    Hello all! As of now i only have one DVD Drive on my new rig, which is a Lite-On drive. I am looking for a second drive and here is what i found:

    Idk, but i think LG and the Lite On one are the best, what are your thoughts on these, guys? Thanks.

        In case you don't know, Optiarc is a joint venture between Sony and NEC. So it's not some crap brand :)

            Um, try going through to checkout. Not that much though as it's an OEM unit.

              Um Alex, not bad its £23.57. I have to ask though, is it better to have Lightscribe and what not?? i mean whats the point. I need something good, and ideal that can read games well.

                Lol, Lightscribe is such a gimmick. In reality, it produces rubbish results and you have to buy special disks. My mate had one and never really used it. Waste of cash buying a drive for lightscribe.

                    I've got two NEC DVD everything drives and they are top notch... one is in a box another is in my gaming rig. Never know when you will need a back up so I purchased two. :)

                      Oh almost forgot, um i have 620W PSU as u guys may know from the "My System" drop down list. I wanted ot know if it can handle all thats listed in the "my System" along with 2DVD drives?! any idea guys?

                        your CD/DVD drives do not work all the time.. only when needed so yes it should be fine..they use very little power too.
