    Turn-On computer/program on its own?

I wanted to put my computer into "Hibernate" mode and have it start back up at a certain time and have it login, so a program will start running for me. Is there any settings on Windows Vista or a special program that will start up my PC at a certain time, or just even start up a program at a certain time?

Why do I need this? Well, I want to download a few things overnight. Thing is, my brothers computer is hooked up to the same internet connection and it'll cause him to lag if I turn my downloads on. So I want to turn them on when he goes to sleep, but he always stays up late and I don't want to stay up late to turn them on manually.

Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Get your brother to do it/threaten him with lag.

if your using torrents (legal ones of course :) ) programs like azureus and some others have built in schedulers that you can say when to download and at what maximum speed. I'm sure there is a normal download manager program out there that does the same. I'll ask around.

I'm using Free Download Manager because it's not torrents. I haven't actually checked if it has an automatic scheduler though, so I'll check in the options menu.

Edit: Just found out that Free Download Manager has the option to schedule a download. I would have to leave my PC on and leave FDM open for it to start running, correct?
