Hiya guys,

I am in the market for some solid built speakers. here are a few i had in mind, i don't want anything high on the $$$ please. And adding to that i am NOT looking for a fancy shmancy 7.1 10 sets of speakers, i am not building a disco, i am just going to put it in my gaming area.

It is very likely that i will NOT buy the last link as it wont fit in mah suitcase so meh guess i will buy it form my own home country like years from now :P ne ways i want two standard speakers so which do u guys suggest please keep it in UK pounds. I am sorry if this message has come quite unclear its just that i am a bit stressed out, getting my results this week from Uni.:thumbsup:

From the ones you listed the X-230 or X-240; they are the same as the 5.1 sets (X-530 and X-540) only in a 2.1 config. As to which one, seeing as both are the same spec-wise, whichever ones style appeals to you more.

Get a bigger suitcase. :p If it helps any the dimensions on the sub are 11 1/2"H x 6"W x 9 1/2"D.

I have the X-530s, they have very nice quality and can deliver in the bass end. Currently shaking most of my basement at 1/3 volume... If I crank it to 3/4 plus it is LOUD.

Are these good, lol i really dont want the ones with the bass box, as i will not be using it at all.

And getting a new suitcase is a big no go lol

I've had negative view of Logitech for quite a while. That was until on the advice of someone from here (IIRC Alex) I got the Z-2300 2.1 speaker system. Holy **** my opinion has changed.

Btw those speakers are pricey and too big for you by the sounds of it . But Jesus. Music plays just as the musicians recorded it, unbelievable.

which one the X140s? They sound a bit big, but mebeh i can put them in my suitcase perfectly, rapped around in some bubble wrap and clothes.

Despite you finding them twice on Amazon there is only one X-140. If those are the ones you want, just get them from whoever is cheapest,

I'd recomend Creative Gigaworks T20's.
2.0 system but plenty of bass due to the 1W subs built into both speakers. Good Quality audio which i haven't found to distort, and plenty loud enough, half volume is usually too much.

Creative looks s3xalicious mate but for that price i would rather get MGS4 :) But i am considering them for next year (Undergrad yr).Thnx for the suggestion i will put it on mah basket.

Just bought them off of Ebuyer!!! Thanks for everyone who helped me, i appreciate it i only had to spend 20 quid :)!
