How would I link PS3/Xbox to the PC (video link)

I know that with Media center and 360 you can link them up together, but is it possible to use the LAN connection between the two to show exactly what is happening on the 360 over the PC? Sort of like a remote connection between PC-360.

And is this also possible to do on the PS3?

I basically want to be able to take screenshots/video of PS3/360 games... if you can't do it via software and LAN, then how would I set it up using cables? and a TiVo card?

Anyone? :o I was able to use a TV as a 2nd monitor before, but haven't a clue to use the PC Monitor as a TV, where I can still use the PC and record whatever is on the TV (only wanna record gaming stuff, no stupid TV shows) :/

So, you want to somehow hook the Xbox up so that it goes through your pc and displays on your monitor?

If so, you would need to get a tv tuner card, which will probably have component, composite or some connection that the xbox supports, and you can plug the xbox into that and then record it on your pc.

Well I want to be able to play the console and see it on the TV, but at the same time, whilst I have the PC on, be able to turn load up an application and just view the console/TV - then record/screenshot whenever I want...
