    Ati 4870

I just came across this website http://www.google.com/translate?u=ht...&hl=en&ie=UTF8

I don't know how legit it is, so take it with a grain of salt. Interesting nonetheless

Tl;dr, but i read a few points, i was just wondering if this can relate to the 98s like is it an ATi comeback or a new gen card?

I think it would be a new gen card.

Also, if you don't want to read it all you can scroll down to look at the screenshots of CPU-Z, GPU-Z and 3Dmark06

48xx's & G200's will be the next gen cards everyone's waiting for. Lets hope both are upto scratch as both companies did have a few let downs, nVidia with the most recent.

I still don't understand why they used such a weak processor to show off such a good card.

He means a weak CPU which can potentially bottleneck a good graphics card.

Sounds good. I want to move away from nVidia ASAP.

I'm guessing this is their next-gen high end card? I don't know about ATI's numbering system. Isn't it like Nvidia's except the ten's digit is used instead of adding "GT" or "GTX" suffixes?
