Keyboard speed?

lately my keyboard feels slower than usual. It takes longer to backspace a whole paragraph than it did before. I've had this problem before with an older keyboard, and what I did to fix it was just unplug it and plug it back in. I've tried that this time, but it didn't do anything.

Is there a way to adjust the speed or something else to fix this? it's kind of annoying :|:

Try getting a can of air and spraying it out..If you dont have one there are plenty of guides on the net on how to open your keyboard up and put it in the dishwasher for a sparkly clean...

Only problem i would think is the dirt...

It's easy to take apart a keyboard. All i had to do was take a phillips head screw driver and a set of alankeys to open it. I then took off each key and cleaned in warm soapy water.
I vacuumed all the loose crud off and then just wiped the rubber mat and the main board with a cloth. Now it looks and smells fresh.

lol sounds like a dodgy keyboard to me.. i have never in my entire time of using pc's had a keyboard run slow.. Go buy a G15 :p

or maybe try another usb.. i doubt the actual keyboard can run slow.. it sounds more like a software/application problem.

I found out that it's not the keyboard. I plugged in my brother's keyboard and mine at the same time and they were both slow. Once I plugged them both into his computer, they were running like they should.

I have the updated drivers, and I've tried switching the USB port.

I even went to hardware > keyboard. You can change the speed of the keyboard there, but the sliders were at the highest they could go
