In the end, i decided to go a little cheaper since a 2gb memory card and carry case was going to cost me the best part of £20.

I really liked the fact it has a standard viewfinder as well, something that is lacking from a lot of digital cameras.

So, in the end i got this:




and a 2gb Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo.

Cost me about £115 total. I'm happy :)

Me being an avid photographer, 3x optical zoom makes me cringe.

For your price range, a drop in MP and a 10x zoom makes me a happier person.

But, the camera you have (now), has plentiful more features (knowing Sony).

On a personal note I use a Panasomic DMC-FZ30, pretty neat-o camera.
My dad on the other hand uses a Cannon EOS 400D.

Ah, but its £120 alone. Mine is £120 including a case and 2gb card.

I'm not a keen photographer, i just want to snap some pics where i'm on holiday with my GF.

sry for the interruption of this thread, but i am quite aroused on the odea of getting me a photographer's camera as i do love photography and i am in Uni take constant pics of scenery, mates, etc so Vika could u possible recommend me something with in 115GBP or 120 preferably something like urs i liked that one it takes memory sticks right? if yes thats great anything without film is great, if u could not recommend me anything its fine the one u posted seems reasonable!

Oh and dnt wry bout Mem stix i can manage i just want the cam itself.
