    Digital Cameras

I haven't got the foggiest about digital cameras or what not. All i know is that i need one for day to day business, and before i go on holiday with my women.

Could someone suggest some good snappers at no more than £150 (UK sites :))

Aye, but I would like a more compact version. Looks damn nice though!

                    Re: Digital Cameras

Fujifilm do some nice ones that are good value- we have the F10 (They don't do it anymore, but they do better ones that are cheaper now) and that does all we need.
Don't get too hung up on the megapixels- people tend to forget that a 2560*1600 monitor is only 4MP, so after a bit it just gets pointless (Unless you want to do some serious image cropping). Ignore digital zoom; that's just a scam that allows them to quote a higher zoom than the camera really has. It's the optical that you're after. Digital zoom is just the same as opening MS Paint and zooming in.

That Fujifilm SLR seems a good buy; review here: http://www.dpexpert.com.au/archives/...00_review.html

55? I've got the 60 and that's already about a year old. Good camera though, very small and good quality pictures.

The IXUS 70 can be found here for £140: http://www.johnlewis.com/230419449/P...x?source=35735

I have one of the fuji FinePix. I don't know what the model number is, the wife took it on a trip. But its the size of a credit card and as thick as a deck of cards. Takes wonderful shots in day or night time.
