The "Other" Section does not add to your post count.
That includes, welcome, off topic, general gaming, etc
This is done on purpose. :)

Actually, only sections in other that don't add to post count are Off-topic and Welcome. General gaming, tech center, etc. do add to it. But you shouldn't be worrying about your post count anyway. And for the new 21CW, don't be spamming up the boards.
