    Newegg to discontinue Creative products

Many, many people have complained about the poor quality drivers and products from Creative. Newegg's and Creative's forums have been swamped with complaints, and a recent decision to stop modders from creating X-Fi drivers which work in Vista better have made people mad.

As such, Newegg has decided to discontinue stocking Creative products. read the post in Newegg's forum posted by "Webmaster@newegg.com"

    To Whom it May Concern:

While it is not our place to condemn the decisions of Creative regarding this issue, our customers come first. That being said, it has come to our attention that many of our customers are not happy with the products Creative has released nor the support for those products. To wit, we have processed nearly 5,000 return orders within the past 48 hours. While it is not normally in our best interest to publically comment in a manufacturer's forum, the overwhelming concensus has left us little choice. As such, effective tommorow morning newegg.com will suspend sales of the sound cards in question, particularly those indicated as "Vista compatible", pending an investigation into the matter. Those of you whom recently ordered such a card will still recieve your product as indicated in any relevant conversations. While we regret this abrupt decision, it has been deemed neccessary to protect the interest of our consumers. We welcome contact from Creative as soon as is possible so that we may resolve this issue.

    Thank you,

This is going to be a major blow to Creative's profits if it's true.

Wow, that's really not good at all. I have creative products and have never had a problem. I hope Creative can settle this somehow.

:laugh::laugh: HAHA Death to Creative... I've been so pissed at them since the release of Vista that I could have tossed my Audigy card to my dog.

I must ask though... where is the source link to this news?

Beautiful if it's true. Creative should have gone bankrupt soon as they released stable drivers for the SB Live.

Well I'm requesting a source link..since we are two days from April fools day I'd rather not get caught up in some joke when I find this very serious.

I've had no real issues with the X-Fi Fatal1ty in Vista! Vista downloaded the proper drivers for me after I reinstalled it, how nice .

Googling the whole paragraph results in a 4Chan post that is now gone.
