Looking to buy a new pc

Hey guys,

I was hoping you would be able to help me with my problem. I'm clueless about hardware and a few of my friends suggested these links here.

My budget is hovering around the 2k mark so I'm not sure what sort of computer I'll get for that. If you guys could just take a look and if there's any recommendations or anything you could give me, that'd be great thanks.

The first link you posted sounds like a good option for a decent rig mate, i have seen many systems such as that build i would say forget bout the other two links and get those parts from the first link with a decent case the best two cases that rings up in my head the most is the CM690 or the Antec 900 u could go for the Antec1200 although i have never rly looked into it.

Q66, cuz its an Intel C2D its easily overclock-able as said on the web u posted, that thermal right is also most recommended opposing to that of the Arctic Cooler 7, the 88GT is the gamers choice me thinks as it comes in an affordable price and matches up to the GTX. the P35 boards are good as i have been recommended one when i built my rig which is not too long ago a matter or months. the PSU i am surprised that i have seen it on that site quite frankly it made me feel better as i own it lawlzerz its a good one overall buddy that rig is quite fine and affordable to a budget gamer.

the first one looks perfect.. forget the cpu cooler unless ur going to overclock and put the $99 towards somthing else.. its pretty similar to my build :) i have the same HDD,PSU,CPU,monitor and im getting that soundcard.. they all work great and the monitor is by far one of the best 22" monitors u can buy.

The 8800GT is an incredible card for the money!..

whats even more incredible is i bought all my stuff from ITestate aswell lol.. their very cheap! but know jack sh*t about PC's.. so if ur going to go through them dont expect too much of a technical support..

sorry... but that doesn't make sense:hmm: how do u save money by buying somthing u dont need?.. if your not going to overclock no aftermarket cooling would be necessary aslong as u have adequate case airflow u should be fine :)

Yea, mine runs fine on stock cooling without going ballistic.

The first system is good (cause it's from node ), but you might want to check those prices on http://www.staticice.com.au as they might have gotten even lower since then!

it was just a suggestion forgive me for any complications, but yeah stock cooler should do if ur not OC'ing and if ur case has good airflow 5N1P3R said. :)
