My motherboard is an EVGA 680i SLI
I have spent this evening fitting a Tuniq Tower 120 on to my Q6600.
It all went smoothly, or so I thought.
I used my Anti static wrist and took the pc apart on a large clean wooden desk.
Took pc apart - OK
Put it back together - OK
Plugged everything in.
Checked it all.
CPU has power.
tower has power.
4Gb RAM is in.
I plugged the extra molex into the motherboard for PCI-E power too.
When I press the on button the computer switches on for under 1 second, then goes off again, By now at the top of the motherboard shows an orange LED, next to the usual blue one.
Then pressing the on button does nothing, until you unplug and plug in the power again.
A very worried guy calling for help!
I will not be here again until the morning, but I hope someone can help.
