    New Headset

Well currently I have the old logitech headset that you can get at walmart but I'm tired of going through them real fast. I'm looking for a headset for computer gaming. I would also like it to work for ps3 but if that is not possible it is ok. Currently I have been recommended these two but I'm still open to anything. Also I would like them to be less then $50. I'm more worried about communicating with my team then I am epic in game sound.

I use a set of planetronics (not USB) for backup....my main set is a MedusaGamers headset made by Speedlink...but your looking at 120$ for one of those (which is the best)

I've always meant to get around to getting a new headset since my mic broke like a year ago.

Instead I just use a USB instrument mic that I use for recording music at home with.

Eventually I'll need to get something a little closer to my mouth though. :p What I've been suggested from a friend (who's practically a part-time professional gamer) is this sennheiser headset, mostly for its very good audio quality.

Senhiesers (sp?) are very good, although I do not own them have used them at a friends house and they are now on my shopping list. I think it was a P161 or some other number.

Im on my fifth set of Sennheiser PC151, fairly cheap end of that range but i cant fault them.
Ive destroyed them in various ways rather than it being poor build quality, although i would say that the cable they use is a little bit vulnerable to abuse.
Good quality for a fair price and frankly its rare for the price to get decent audio quality.

sure... and I said plantronics would be a good alternative...just adding what headset is the best on the market for his interest or anyone else picking up on the thread. :salute:

Well I have decided that I really wanna get a usb headset because I wanna be able to use it for my ps3 also. After searching and checking reviews I have decided on getting this unless anyone else can recommend a different usb headset.

If this isn't that good and there isn't really any good usb headsets I guess I can just get one for my computer. Let me know I dont wanna spend any more then $60 including shipping.

Thanks for all the recomendations so far.

Also just found these and they look cool
