Windows Shut Down Options

so suddenly last night when i was gonna turn off my PC instead of the usual i got this weird window



and when i turn it on i get a similar window except it only says "owner" i just spent like half an hour trying to fix it and i honestly cant figure it out and google has failed me, i really dont wanna reformat anyone know what might be going on?

If you go to control panel, user accounts, "change the way users log on and off", and turn "fast user switching on", and there is another option I believe has to be on.

It uses the nice GUI logon instead.

umm really weird, i did just as you said and i got a message window saying:

"client services for NetWare has be disabled the welcome screen and fast user switching. To restore these features, you must uninstall client services for NetWare"

and the the options are of course grayed out, its weird because i havent installed anything other than Americas army in the past few days, i think its either that or a virus/malware.

Look in your add/remove programs and look for a "netware", "Novell Netware" or "Netscape".

after looking like crazy i finally managed to remove that stuff and now it works, many thanks mate!

Client services for Netware is within the properties of the network adaptor... listed in the same place TCP/IP properties is.
