It didn't crash though, I purposely restarted it

I'm using rivatuner, and I don't see a "save" button. just "apply" and "ok"

Also compare clock speed to frame rate increases. If you start to reach a limit where increasing the clock doesn't have a drastic effect on frame rates don't go to that level. Just useless wear on the card.

He'll most likely reach the OCing limits on the card before the point where performance drops.

I would overclock, but it doesn't seem to want to stay. every time I restart my computer, it gets reset to the default clock speeds. I don't even know if it's overclocking, because the temperature doesn't increase

Have a look in the compatibility tab.

ok, i'm at school right now but when I get home I'll check the compatibility tab and post a screenshot.

I took a glance at it this morning, but what exactly would I be looking for?
