    OEMS, and E8400 compatibility.

    HI every1 @ TGN,

I have and 8800GTX OEM, its not labeled i.e. branded like XFX or BFG etc. i was wondering does that make it bad if its straight from Nvidia or is the only diff that the cards suchs as XFX only have XFX stickers on them and may slightly OC it a bit.

It's not bad it's just that it may not have such a good warrenty.
The E8400 should be compatible but make sure you're updated to the latest bios.

It varies depending upon the manufacturer, in my case i use a windows based utility, others use Floppies, CD's or USB sticks, If you go onto abit's website and look for drivers for your board there will be information on how to update your bios.

EDIT: Read the information at the top of this page, download the flash utility and then the latest bios (form the end of February) and use the flash tool.
