I need help finding new components (in the title) i'd like to run with a Intel set-up this time. The catch is my budget is $300USD or under.

you wont be able to use you old ram, i guess if you have an old case and a few spare parts you can make up an office pc.

Everything Scinto suggested is excellent.

I personally would rather go with a mobo along the line of this one $119 (open box: a bit more for new)

The lower clocked Core 2 Duo's are perfectly fine, especially if you want to same some $$$. You can overclock pretty much any Core 2 Duo quite a ways. That mobo should help out. A better CPU cooler would make OC'ing even more feasible without increasing the price as much as upgrading the CPU further.
