New Accessories

I'm planning on purchasing some new fans, a mouse, and a keyboard. But, I would like some suggestions first.

1) Mouse - I'm looking for a nice, decent gaming mouse. I've looked into the MX518, G5, and Copperhead. The other day though, I was at best buy and I seen the Razer Lachesis, which has a 4000DPI laser engine compared to the 2000DPI the Copperhead has.

So, if the Razer Lachesis a good choice for a gaming mouse? If not, please let me know which mice are good for gaming. Price doesn't really matter, as long as it's under $100.

2) Keyboard - Also looking for a new keyboard. Not really looking for a special gaming keyboard, because I don't need one that's all that great. What I need is a nice, durable keyboard, with a smooth feel. I'm not saying saying I won't purchase a gaming keyboard, just stating that it doesn't have to be one.

I was thinking of purchasing the Wave or the Razer Lycosa keyboard, but would like some opinions from you guys first.

3) Fans - For the fans, I haven't found any particular fans that I would like to purchase. But, what I'm looking for 3 x 120MM fans that have GOOD airflow, low noise, and have blue LED (doesn't have to have the blue LED, but it would be cool if they did).

I can't say much about the keyboard, but for the mouse, I personally have a G5. It's a really nice mouse to use and is very smooth and accurate. Although it does have changeable weights, I don't use it cause it doesn't feel much different for me.

Regarding the fan, I recently picked up an Arctic Cooling 120mm exhaust fan for really cheap. Since my old fan died out, I tried out this one and it has been excellent! You can feel huge amounts of air coming out the back and it is deadly silent! It lacks a blue LED though, but I'd sacrifice bling for silence any day.

6 Year Warranty, so it'd be safe to assume it won't fail within 6 years. By then, you'd need a new one anyhow ...

I'm not much of a keyboard/mouse enthusiast. I just have a standard dell keyboard and microsoft mouse.

As for fans, if you haven't already upgraded your CPU fan/cooler, you might want to think about that before getting any other fans, unless you really need more cooling in other places (which is less likely)

I'm looking for case fans. I have the Vanquisher or something along those lines for the CPU, and it seems to do the job.

The absolutely best case fans I've seen and read about are Noctua's 120mm (NF-S12-1200 model with 17dB noise at 1200rpm). I've got one and you really can't even hear it even if you stick the ear next to it. 6 years warranty on those things. The only not so nice thing is the coloring (which is poo-brown) and lack of LEDs. They do not look very "cool", but it's a testament to their quality is that they are sold like hotcakes regardless. They cost about 20 euros each, so they ain't cheap.

Also Nexus makes very good ones with their D12SL-12 which costs the same.

MX518 and G5 are excellent mice, and for Kboards the simplest one i ever bought was the Fatal!ty Board because it was slim and back lit the keys, but now i am going for Sitek Eclipse which is also good but i think its a bit big.

For fans i am only expereinced with Zalmans Akasa, and Antec, out of the three Zalmans rock!
