tuniq tower vs intel stock hs (PICTURES)

ok guys so today i got part of my parts here, and well i was just suprised on how HUGE this heat sink really is..
so i had to take some pictures to show ya how big it in fact is ..its massive..it weights like 5 lbs..lol..



this image shows the actual heatsink is bigger then the entire box that intel put the processor in..pretty impressive if you ask me just form this picture..



this image shows a size comparison with a quarter placed on the actual intel stock heat sink..i do think that the intel heat sink will probably work fine but im saying this..the tuniq heat sink is clearly worth the $$$ and will do the job better...

i agree fully, well worth every cent i paid for all of this.

I'm so thankful alex for tgn and everything, i could not have picked better parts...

i also got that fan I'm going to post a picture in the new crap thread...that fan is amazing the aero cool xtreme turbine fan...
amazing i hooked it up it pushes 4 or 5 times the air of my stock fan..ill take some pictures of bolth later for a comparison...

not that i know of..and i know for a fact first hand zalman is awsome cooling but its also loud as it cools..this thing is silent...its like a whisper ....

yeah. They're massive, but completely worth it.
Right now my CPU is running at about 20 degrees Celsius and never gets higher than 36 or so. And I keep the fan speed on low pretty much all the time.

(yeah, I have one too :p )

how much did it drop by from the normal hs?
i hooked it up and it clearly blows a lot of air...then again the fan is what 4 times the size of a normal stock hs fan...

im waiting on my ram before i hook it all together...which i should get the ram today sometime ...

I don't have the Tuniq, but at stock speeds my temperature dropped ~15C idle with my freezer pro.

i was surprised myself, it dropped to pretty much ambient(20C to 22C) from ~35C. it's now back up at 35C after my overclock from 2.6GHz to 3Ghz

You put any extra Vcore on that overclock?

i would think so...i mean the heat comes from the xtra voltage..

I started with it on auto, oc'd then lowered the Vcore until no longer stable, then put it to the last stable notch.
Since then i lowered the clock slightly (form 3.05 to 3.00) so i might see if i can drop it down a notch.

EDIT: current Vcore=1.336V
