I've just updated my gpu drivers, now when I run a game there are borders on the sides. How can I fix this, it's really anoying. yes I've tried pressin alt+enter

Is there a 'auto' button on your monitor, if so click this if not you will have to manually go into the options for the monitor, there should be a menu button and manually adjust the screen.
