I'd rather DDR2 died soon, then DDR3 will be cheaper.
I will need a new motherboard anyway for a new build so that i could use a newer processor, should be a few years before i need a new PC anyway.

about 2.5 would be good, then a new one for Uni.

The only problem with those multi boards is they usually don't do either as good as a strictly 2 or 3 board. But if you really want to be able to use either I guess it's your only choice.

Tbh it wasnt for me..until after i ordered everything i realised when i checked back...6 slots..I just got it because it was cheap and it was Asus
