    New Case!...Sorta

Well a while back i got my shiny new Coolermaster 690 and took some pics but i coudlnt be arsed before to post...I posted em elsewhere but not here..So behold my little review/thingy of the Cm-690 chassis
here it is when it arrived:

    Buttneked

    Changign the stuff around

    Mobo shot

    The shexyness of the red

Now here comes the tricky part which i was stuck on about an hour trying to get it out....This is what it looked like when it was just me pushing it and punching it.

So..I decided for some hammer treatment to my brand new case

    that did the trick

    Final shot of the slot

    everything inside

    Cable managemtn

    Final Pic

Overall it is a GREAT case...It is 'elegant', sturdy, extremely good build quality, great looks and awesome cooling(can fit up to 7 fans!!!)

BUT its not just me who has come across the DVD drive problem..In the manual it says just to push inwards..but apparently what your meant to do is take the whole front panel off and there should be some clips on the back which just realeses it..Overall if anyone needs a new case for cheap i would definitely reccomend you this one!! It's on sale for about £50 at scan, yoyotech and whatnot....So..theres my review..sorry about the bad quality pics, i only had my phone handy and enjoy! :)

Oh and my cable management is better than above its just i had an extra HDD which was IDE but didnt work..looks better now...

Nice set up . I had a eclipse keyboard once, i broke the space key on it though , now i have a G15 - Like the glass desk - AND the case, my case is just too bulky.

Do you realise that there might just be a screw or two holding the metal cover? Happened in a friend's Centurion case, same manufacturer.

That's pretty good. Because aforementioned friend's PC caught fire soon as we switched the power on. Twice. Hooray for dodgy PSUs, I guess.

Did he use the psu in the centurion? That one was actually not bad as it was made by CM,lasted me a a year and a half and would have gone or more had i not needed more juice.
