Cleaning A Keyboard With The Dishwasher...

I gave this a shot and the keyboard still works. Each key was tested individually.

• Heated dry - off
• No soap (To prevent the build up of residue)
• Dried for over 7 days
• Only the keyboard was in the dishwasher, no dishes along with it

Do not try this at home on your expensive gaming keyboard!


I am not responsible if you try this and something with your keyboard and/or dishwasher goes wrong and/or breaks.

I read that article before and have been meaning to try it. my old keyboard started failing with stuck keys, etc, so i may try it with that. nothing to loose.

If your keyboard has mechanical aka metal parts rust could possibly be an issue. But most are just that magical plastic buffer.
