How to Play Lan on Wireless Router?

Hello Every1!!!

i am going back home in easter, and am looking forward to playing some LAN with my brother on AIX and FH2, my question is HOW?

I have a 3Com wireless router, it is connected to my main rig back home, and i would like to join him via my laptop how do i do that. ( i know how to play with him on a local server i usually create).

Make sure your on the same work group and both have appropriate IP's etc.

ok thats one now do i have to have an RJ11 cable (or some cable) from my laptop to one of the router's 4 ports?

Well, either wireless or wired, it makes nowt all difference.
