Tv Prob fixed until i rebooted :s

OK! iFINALLY got some time to myself and away from Uni! i set up my PC with a DVi to VGA adapter and Vga cables, my current rez is 1280*720, and all my icons are fine! everything fits the screen and i got mor rez options now! my highest one is: 2048*1536, but when i try to up my rez it says no signal and takes me back to my old one 1280*720, any ideas guys?

New prob: now when i load up my PC it starts up then after the WinXP Mirosoft logo appears right after that it says no signal :s

Press F8 before the XP logo and select "640x480 resolution" or whatever. Then set the correct screen resolution (your monitor doesn't seem to support 2048x1536) and restart.

This is going to be my last attempt ( the TV was initially going to be used for PS3 to enhance the visuals) if it does not work i will take it to a techy, if that doesent work out then i will leave it at that and use it for my PS3.

*Buying a new screen if it does not work, whats the best to feed the GTX with, cus i read it reveals its magic on high rez's?

thnx a bunch for yer reply camper!

Yea sometimes windows cant tell what the max res of your display is and lets you go higher than it supports. Glad your problem got fixed.
