    Xtreme Gamer + VOIP

Hey all, I have tried everything, from reinstalling my sound card drivers to switching mics, But I can't get anything VOIP to work. When testing my mic in Teamspeak, I get a horrible hissing noise that makes my voice repeat itself a bunch of times. In CSS and BF2, no one can hear me either :/ My mic is not muted and all the settings are correct so I'm not sure what's going on here.

that was a bug with Vista and X-Fi cards, it's fixed in the latest release,

in TS Tools> options, select your sound card for both boxes, and try between direct sound and wave,

make sure you mic booster is on aswell.

Mic booster + turn mic input up will allow them to hear you, drivers might fix the first bit.

Don't have an X-Fi so can't point you in the right location for the setting (I'm sure someone with one can if you can't find it), but have a look and make sure that "What You Hear" isn't enabled.
