Hello every1, i tested my rig with DVI to HDMI cables to my TV and the res was fine only one thing was flocked up which was the desktop view, the taskbar coud be seen cut in half and what not and my GTX would not resize teh desktop now i bought DVI to VGA adapter so i can now run it in VGA, do you guys think this would fix the prob, maybe i will get better res?

did you play around with the resolutions? -
no, i just got the latest drivers for my gfx and thats all, oh and its an OEM if that helps.
my Nvidia CP config wont help at all! uknow the option of were u can resize the size of ur desktop well that doesn't do squat.
B4 installing the drivers, there were only 3 res sizes, 800*600, 1024*768 and another one cant remember, then when got the drivers i got more rez sizes.Comment

try different resolutions until you find one that fits.Comment

i already did that, the best one i think was 1280*768 or something tomorrow i will try my VGA cables and see how that turns out its DVI ---> VGA.Comment

When you move the mouse to the bottom of the screen does the whole thing seem to shift down so you can see it? If so then your res. is prolly too high...make it smaller, or different aspect ratio depending on your screen. If it doesn't change then you need to do that thing with your tv/pc screen when you manually move and stretch the screen around.Comment

OK! iFINALLY got some time to myself and away from Uni! i set up my PC with a DVi to VGA adapter and Vga cables, my current rez is 1280*720, and all my icons are fine! everything fits the screen and i got mor rez options now! my highest one is: 2048*1536, but when i try to up my rez it says no signal and takes me back to my old one 1280*720, any ideas guys?
New prob: now when i load up my PC it starts up then after the WinXP Mirosoft logo appears right after that it says no signal :sComment
