8 VGA coolers for 8800GT review

    I was mainly looking at the noise characteristics of these coolers. Did anyone else wonder why they had the 8800GT stock cooler decibel readings at 67% duty cycle and still being a very LOUD ONE!

    I'd really rather get an quite cheap VF900-Cu to go with the 8800GT and enjoy peace and quiet.

    The reason why I personally detest single slots now is that they cooling is in most cases inadequate and noisy. Those machines burning at >80C constantly can not be healthy to the GPU over time when it warms and cools peridically.

    Keep your warranty receipts at hand.

      I threw away all my hardware boxes..does that mean i screwed the warranty up?

        Usually, yes.

        Some manufacturers might accept an invoice as proof, but if they want the faulty product back, your screwed! :yay:
