    cosmos 1000

    hello all.

    i hope some one can help,i have purchased a lovely cosmos 1000 case. but cant seem to find help anywhere to put the front panel headphone/ mic jack plugs in the sound card. only the mobo

    i have put the azalia plug in the motherboard but no sound comes from the speakers,when the headphones are plugged in.

    the plugs are azalia hd audio plug and ac97 plug, i have an xfi gamer sound card but there is nowhere to put them what i can see of.

    my last case had to jack plugs that pugged into back of sound card.from front panel.

    please help or just put me out of my misery.

    Assuming that your speakers provide a headphone jack, do yourself a favor and get a decent set of stereo headphones. Then plug them into the jack on the speakers, with the speaker setting set to 5.1 in the Windows audio settings and headphones in the X-Fi controls (can also use CMSS3D).

      the front panel port on the xtreme gamer is at the top right hand corner of the card., when the bracket is on the left.
