my friend loaned me a old comp of his.

I know so far it has Windows 2000
Running Pentium 4 (1.7)
512 ram
Havent figured out the card yet


What sort of uprgrades could i do? is it worth it?
if you need to know anything else about it just ask and ill find the spec

Well, if you want to upgrade the card, you would probably want it to have pci-e.

If it doesn't, there's not much to do there.

Other than that, you could upgrade the ram.

I don't think upgrading the processor is really worth it since P4's are pretty much out.

If you can get better parts for it for free or with minimum cash then it's worth it, but the parts really have be around $30-40 altogether.

ok thx, just wondering if it was worth upgrading, ill keep it for using Microsoft office (which it already has) and ill invest my money elsewhere.

most use you would get out of it would be for network storage, if you can stick an additional harddrives in it

yeah thats what i was thinking. If i dont find a use for that ill keep the case, networking card, cd burner and DVD player and toss the rest
