    It would've been better if they had used OLED instead, although it would've been very expensive they don't mind being curved so then it would be smooth rather than 4 angled panels.
    It will be over priced anyway so why not.
    Good idea though, immersive gaming ftw.

      DLP? is that rear-projection? because one website I saw this on says it's a rear projection monitor

          Most games don't support widescreen.

          That is .. show more of the game. Not the stretch the game.

              hardly any other game other than crysis supports such streched resolutions, my 16:10 is bad enough for getting resolution support, dont expect to be doing any native res gaming on that think

              Other than that big problem it looks great

                And too bad that to run crysis at those resos you would have to have 3 x 8800GTX to have 20fps

                  Well game support doesn't matter that much because how many people would actually buy one if they move beyond the prototype? It'll be really expensive.

                  IMHO, its more of just an exercise in showing off what they can do than a practical step in innovation.

                            yeah i remember when i was working in a lab...ttheir computers had super widescreens (aka 2 big monitors put together) which was meant for multitasking/programming etc
