        ok, um back on topic. I think it's a faulty RAM. My mothers Laptop did that and it turned out the ram wasn't in the Slot very well and when I pushed the RAM in and booted it up, sure enough, Success.

          All schools are meant to take a register at about midday, its just our school decied to be fancy and instead of having a Mk 1 pencil and paper, thought they'd get a fingerprint scanner which spent half the time broken..... sensible

            At our school, if you press the power button when no one is logged on and the screen saver is up, the screen saver dissapears but the pc doesn't power off, until someone presses Ctrl+Alt+Del to log on lol.
