looking to get a new computer part, need help deciding

Hello..
i currently have 2gigs of DDR2800 Corsair XMS2 memory in my P5k mobo, but since i got a $50 dollar giftcard for newegg, i want to buy more memory. I am well aware that 32bit operating systems can only recognize up to 3gigs or RAM, but im kind of clueless on this question:
Should i get another 1GB stick of Corsair XMS2 memory to total 3gigs, same brand to ensure proper fuctionality, or get an extra 2 gigs of another brand so it won't top $50?
or should i just move up to 64bit operating system?

cpu: Core 2 Duo e6750 oc'ed to 3.49 GHZ(should i get a cooler?)
RAM: Corsair XMS2 DDR2 800 2 GIGS
Video Card: Nvidia GeForce 7600 GS (looking to move up to an 8800GT late 2008)
Hard Drive: Maxtor 160gb 7200 rpm ( from like 4 years ago, should i get a new one?)
PSU: Thermaltake 430 Watts (Should i get a more powerful one?)
OS: 32Bit Windows XP service pack 2 (probably going to move to vista, or no?)

i have vista 64 bit and 4GB of ram and whilst gaming i don't think i have used more than 2.5 GB whilst gaming, if i were to use CAD or Photoshop then i would use more. If you use CAD or PS i would say get 64 bit, then upgrade the RAM to 4 when you can, if you are only gaming i would just get 1GB of ram now.

I would recomened a cooler such as the Arctic frezer 7 pro or any of the Zalman range..theyre your best bet..

Another 1gb of Corsair. I believe Overclockers is doing a set for £30 atm, if your in the UK that is.

I'm guessing you currently have 2 sticks corsair now? If you add another 1 stick of ram your memory wont be running in dual channel mode. so the question is, do you buy 1 gig (2x512), or 2 gig (2x1024). with memory being as cheap as it is right now, I would buy the 2 gig. at least you would have 3.5 functioning on your 32 bit system. hell you can get 1gig (2x512) for $11 after rebate. :)
but if it comes down to money, I would try to stay with pairs of ram so you can stay in dual channel mode.

I would also run cpuz and find out what voltage your current ram is running at, and then when you buy ram, try to match that voltage as close as possible. I'm not sure if that is something required, but it has always worked for me in the past.
