As the radiator pipes run behind my desk, I usually rest my foot on them whilst installing or messing around in there.

I work on the floor, grounding myself with my E-Penis.

Hmmmm, don't work on carpeted floors, never heard of that before. But it sounds reasonable because that's an easy way to get a charge. But I always work on carpet as I don't have much tile or hardwood floor, but usually I just touch the case or use a wristband mojiger.

Well, I've installing/uninstalled my motherboard about 3 times, my video card about 4, my ram 2 times, and my CPU 2 times. All was done on a carpet floor without grounding myself to anything at all, haha.
