Well, unluckily I was unable to get the 512MB 8800GTS because TigerDirect didn't have them in stock. Instead, I bought myself the 320MB 8800GTS for $299.99, which is good enough for me.

I can't believe they are still selling the old gts at full sticker price. If it was me, I'd have waited until the 8800gt was back in stock. Cheaper, better card.

Then again, at 1280x1024 (?) you may not notice the difference. It will certainly be ALOT better than the 8600.

what case are you going to get? im getting the cm-690, its sli supporting & fits up to seven fans with three already installed. great case

i cant wait till my 3870 gets in,just got to buy a new power supply.Will pick up the antec 500 earthwatts at the local frys for 90 dollars.

Haven't decided on a case yet. I kind of want the Aluminus or the CM Stacker though, but for now I'm going to stay with my case. I took the plastic plexi glass of the side, so it shouldn't have any temperature problems.

you have to keep everything else spotless if you take the side off. stuff will accumulate everywhere. buy a can of compressed air and spray the fans/fins every month.

the stacker is a great case, probably one of the best you can buy - but not cheap either

My hd3870 came 2 days after ordering it..but it came at a price it was £160 all together approximately $320....but meh..i dont mind..just need to save up get a better psu and then get another one for Crossfire
