160gb should be perfectly adequate, although 250gb's are relatively cheap. At one point Ebuyer were doing 500gb Samsung Spinpoints for £50.

160gb is fine for me and by the time i fill it up, that computer will be obsolete and anyway if i do fill it up, i'll just get another one.

also i'm thinking about getting an antec 900 is worth it?

and which of the rams were better?

The ram are pretty much the same, i would go with the corsair BUT! others may see different!

The corsair RAM is better- lower latency, lifetime warranty, and I've never heard of Team Elite.

Team Elite make good memory, they are only very popular with overclockers etc..

They used to use the Micron D9 chips.

im also going to get the cm-690 without the psu and get a 550w truepower trio. is this overkill & is a 500w earthwatts enough?

and does it help by changing the mobo to a p35c-ds3r - it supports ddr3. does this mobo support the new true intel quad cores coming out?

DDR3 is currently far more expensive and isn't really worth it at the moment.

I think ive got the one on my xmas list with ddr3 suport...can still use ddr2 but slighlty future proof when ddr3 becomes cheaper....has 6 RAM slots right?

yea im getting it so i can future proof when it comes down in price & gets faster - now the performance increase isnt that great & its far more expensive than ddr2

and yes 6 RAM slots, 4 for DDR2 and 2 for DDR3

what about the ram?
is it better than the corsair ram in the first post?

I feel sorry for you guys who don't have access to Fry's. 2 gigs of that Corsair ram I can get for ~$40. :p
