Boy in the Striped Pajamas (2008)

spoilers:

Totally unrealistic portrayal of the Holocaust, where the son of the Nazi German commandant goes in to a death camp to play with a Jewish boy (not realising what the place really is), and they both end up getting gassed. It annoyed me that we were made to feel more sorry for the German boy than the Jewish lad, as well as everyone else who died in the chamber.

Still it was entertaining and had a few nail-biting moments....

About 20 minutes of Kick ***. I had to stop. It was so cringe that I almost died. Seriously.

I agree i thought it was awesome. I think the problem is people expect it to be a "proper" movie and fail to see that the film is supposed to look cringe worthy.

Nah, I just saw it as another typical movie where everyone says "WHAT the F***" every two seconds, with a bunch of random crap happening and lots of sex.

Although some of the fight scenes were entertaining I'll admit.

I saw Bring him to the Greek last night. Movie was funny didn't make any sense tbh. But there was plenty of tits and sex and yeah.

Round about when the kid got stabbed and the girl was playing with the butterfly knives. I actually thought the kid was day dreaming about him getting his *** kicked.

I forced myself to watch the rest and it got better towards the end but WTF. It was still crap. I only enjoyed the fight scenes (barely) and the only bit I actually LOL'd for was when the fit chick said "I'd **** Kick ***'s brains out". Not out of amusement, but just because it had a better cringe-worthyness to it. If that makes sense.

Kickass was the best movie of the year so far! One of few movies where Nicolas Cage actually does a good acting job as well.
