I just saw that one. It is the first movie in "modern" 3D I have seen, and I must say that the technology impressed me.
The movie was ok too, for a sequel.

Knight and Day I thought it was pretty funny and well worth the watch.

I don't get how Cobb and Chinese guy that hired him got out of Limbo considering they missed the kicks, there was a gun on the table but they weren't able to kill themselves to get out as they were still sedated right? There were others but my brain dies a little I try to pick apart the story line. I ****ing love it though saw it again last night.

The ending wasn't as heart wrenching as everyone made out to be, maybe I'm a heartless twat. First 45 mins bored me tbh and I loved (and still love) the first two.

Also are there still spoiler tags on this forum or what?

            a) The actor is Japanese, not Chinese. Bit of a difference there.

As for the plot holes, I don't think that's really one of them. They were in limbo because they died at the third dream level, i.e. missing the kicks, but once you're in limbo you can kick yourself out by killing yourself. At least I think that's how it's set up to be. But we don't know if they actually killed each other in the end and woke up or if Cobb is really still just in limbo at the end, since the film cuts before the top stops spinning.

In general, though, I thought the film was extremely well written and they managed to step around most potential plot-holes if you take premise for granted (the possibility of entering dreams in such a manner).

Thanks for being your pedantic usual self. How quickly did you check IMDB to make that pointless remark?

Logically they're still under the effects of the sedation though, as the time in Limbo was amplified once more as it was essentially another layer.

TBH I couldn't even begin to attempt to write it, so kudos to the writers for that.

Re: What was the last movie you saw?

nah Limbo is sort of different, because of the time difference you really have a hard time remembering it is a dream, its not like simply adding another layer

that is why when Cobb and his wife were stuck in Limbo he had to implant the suggestion that it was a dream, so they kept remembering they had to get out, so they finally let the train run them over to kill them and let them out

Cobb went down to Limbo to help get the dude out, he was in a good position to do so because he had been in Limbo before

Although i agree that its a great movie, i tend to feel that if a movie requires this much explanation it didnt produce it in the first place :/

Yeh I get that, they loose grip on what is reality and what is a dream, hence what happened to the wife and could potentially go down many more layers. But they suggest a way that is flawed and then do not fully explain how they get out of it when Cobb goes to save the Chinese (...).

Re: What was the last movie you saw?

What i got from it was that they said the sedative was very potent and would take decades within limbo to wear off enough so that killing yourself would get you out. HENCE the chinese man had waited in limbo until he was old and grey, further losing his grip on reality and when cobb showed up it showed him it was still a dream and he used the gun to get himself out because the sedative would have worn off.

Not everyone can appreciate great movies.
I couldn't be with a female who didn't appreciate Pulp Fiction. I've yet to meet a woman worth speaking to who watched but didn't like Pulp Fiction on the basis that it wasn't a good movie. I could however understand one that didn't want to watch it due to it's content.

Prince of Persia - Best video game movie to date and if you didn't think it was more than watchable I feel sorry for you. It was nothing new and nothing spectacular, but it kept my attention from start to finish which is more than most movies today.
