    256mb 8800gt's are available.

At first i thought newegg had messed up on the pricing then i realized it was the 256 mb version.
We’re sorry, but this page does not existing. Please visit our home page for more information.

This is going to put serious pressure on the 3850 and 3870 if they stay at 200,but then again its only 256mb of memory.

id really reccomend the 512mb version, 256mb really isnt enought for games that are out now, so people who want their graphics cards to last more than a year on decent settings buy the 8800gt 512mb version or the 3870 512mb

Any one have a good comparison between 8800GT 512 and 256mb versions vs. the 3870/3850?

Once that memory fills up you go down to around 5fps with 256mb (see oblivion high res benchmarks)

crysis also does this on high settings but its only shows meduim settings on the review
