Will a 600W PSU do?!?

hello evry1 in TGL as u can see in my sig it says that i have a 88gts well i am planing on getting a GTX on Xmas and my psu is 600W OCZ well should i get a 700W or is a 600W good enough mebeh some of u guys with GTXs' can tell me.:salute:

cathodes u mean lighting what does that have to do with cooling unless ur talking bout space. thnx for quick rep btw.

PS i am not doing an OC'ing nor do i have any cathodes in my system.

It sure will, but why do you buy 8800GTX NOW? I mean there's 8800GTS 512Mb version coming up that has the same amount of shaders and is clocked higher. The only edge GTX will have over it is going to be the mem bus width. And 8800GTS (new) will bound to be a lot cheaper than the 8800GTX.

yeah i know i will NOT be doing any SLI'ing hell no first a big hole left in ur wallet and second power hungry third all ya need is one card lol and rambo i know the new GTS based on the G92 is coming out thnx for the info btw i will look up its specs but till Xmas arrives thats when i will shell out some cash on a new card!

I agree, I run a Asus 8800 GTX 768 mb with a 600 psu seems to do just fine.

Section{8} thnx for sharing that i am even more re leaved than b4 cheers m8! say it doesn't really matter if i get the card straight from Nvidia like it doesn't have to be an oem and sold by say XFX right so its ok to get a stock card from nvidia right? good quality i presume.
