I own a Razer Copperhead mouse and I really feel it is to light and small for my hand's.. I have used it for about a year or so.. I would like to upgrade to the G9 that just came out it look's like it would fit me well. anyone have any thoughts on this?

i use logitech mx revolution, in saying that Ive been ridiculed to death about it lol
but i got big hands also, and i find that i like it better, with all the program able buttons, and it being a bigger mouse in general helps me with my game period ..its cordless and its laser and it tracks fine...what I'm getting at is this....what ever mouse fits u best when you play with it at the store ...is whats going to preform best for you on the battlefield..:) -
yeah I will have to go try it. I was just wondering if anyone felt the copperhead was a little to light. I like how you can add weight to the G9 and it look's like the bottom is a lot wider. I will have to check it out next time I am down at best buy or compusa. all I know is I need a new mouse I have been playing alot of cod4 and it's just not working for me anymore..Comment

i have the G9 and the wide cover for it is plenty big for my medium ish sized hands.
the Weights do make quite a difference, you can add upto 28g, i currently have 15G in as i found any less made it to light and any more made it tooo heavy for me.
i find that the dpi adjustment buttons are in a very easy to use place and the thumb buttons only get pressed in when you want them to on the whole.
its a very nice mouse, i would recommend it.
And it comes with 4, 4g weights and 4, 7g weights, but there is only room for 4 in the mouse.Comment

Awesome thank's for the input. I picked it up and I just played a few game's of COD4. I like it alot better then my razer and the weights do make a big difference also another big difference is the pad's on the bottom, I guess I did not realize how worn down mine where on my copperhead cuz this mouse is about 5x as smooth and I can aim alot better. I will make sure if they ware down agian I will buy new one's cuz that alone help's alot.. I really like how you don't rest you're rist on the mouse at all it is very comfortable. Just wanted to add my little review..
One thing, anyone know where to buy mouse feet? The feet on my copperhead are worn down and I would like to buy another pair for my G9 since I don't use a cloth pad I think it wares down faster.Comment

You do realise that the Razer does come with weight packages.
But yeah, G9 is comparable, but I still prefer the Razer.
About the feet, it should be available from the store you bought it, or order it online.Comment

Yeah you can get weights for the razer but I like this G9 alot better.. it is just a more comfortable mouse for me.
another thing I gotta add is the wheel has free mode so in cod4 is you use the mouse wheel to shoot the G3 you can just move it and it will keep spinning.. it si realy crazy it shoots faster then any other gun.. also the pistol's will do that same a fully auto degal it is pretty cool, lol.Comment
