    Psu

    ive read lots of forums and i am really confused. the system below is the one im getting, would this run on the 430w psu supplied with case?

    e6750
    gigabyte p35-ds3l
    8800gt
    3gb ram
    2x dvd rw drive
    1x 160gb wd sata hdd
    creative soundblaster 5.1

    case & psu

    Well, maybe. But its not worth the risk. I would advise at least a 600W drive.

    I'm running similar specs on a 580W

      I agree with alex,I would for sure up grade that psu,i run a 600 watt as well on a evga 680i mobo with a asus 8800 GTx 768 card and it seems to run just fine(befor mobo craped the bed on me that is HEH)

        yeah, even if you go way overboard with the PSU, it won't matter because if its a 800W PSU and your pulling 300W your PSU is gonna run super cool and won't ever over strain and plus its going to last much longer.

          I just upgraded from a marginal 750w to a 850w and my comp runs much cooler. Don't cheap out on the power supply.
