Ok a while ago i posted a list of parts and asked wether they were good or not...I have slighlty updated this list...and would like your guys's opinions on what i should cut back on..and if i should get better stuff...Like i am considring getting a 8600gt and getting a better PSU with the extra money, or get a slightly better CPU, because if this really is my final list im gonna order it when the parts are in stock and hopefully get it on xmas day..so..do you guys see any technical issues involved in the list below?

And btw i would like to be able to play games such as cod4 and crysis but i dont care if its not ultra high....

He should do. Its not hard really on a core 2 duo. You can hit 3.0ghz without an overvolt.

When your on a tight budget, that is sometimes not a good thing to do.

512mb would make a difference, especially above 1024x768, (edit) so you'd want more memory for a 1440x900 screen. if it was me, i'd consider cutting corners on my gaming mouse, gaming keyboard, and gaming mousepad before i started cutting corners on what my game actually looks like.

psu should be fine, with some room for overclocking. as far as i can tell--and i could be wrong--it's a rebranded FSP.

16A+18A (though not exactly additive) on the +12V rail <--they really make necessary specifications hard to find across the pond sometimes. that should at least get you above the ~27A requirement, which is reportedly more than you'd need for an 8800gtx and a moderately overclocked q6600 based system, both of which are ridiculously more power hungry than your components.

keep in mind that's assuming that this psu is really another fortron rebrand.

edit, oh, and if you look at the "gigabyte" psu picture you linked to, you'll see it has two different backplates, lol. those marketeers in blighty, sheesh.

edit again: and you're going to HAVE to overclock that cpu to keep it from bottlenecking the graphics card, whether it's a 256 or 512mb. get that cpu cooler Alex98uk linked to, and bump it up to +3.0 ghz if possible.

edit for the last time: and don't forget to take the fan off while you're installing it. :) the internet is full of people who "had the most awful time" trying to install it with the fan still on. even then it will be a little tricky because intel uses an AWFUL mounting system.

I don't know if you can dish out the extra cash for a Logitec G9 but if you can go for it.. I just picked one up to replace my Razer Copperhead and the G9 is about 5x better in pretty much every way. I will also say you need at least a 22" monitor.. I would not even go with a 22 I would go with 24" so you can have 1920x1200.
