    Here are My findings

    Stable Version BF2142 FPS = 30-40
    169.01 = 40-60
    169.04 = 30-40
    169.09 = 40-60
    169.12 = 30-35
    169.25 = 50-60

    this goes for other games as well the .01 and .09 drivers boosted my FPS in all games

    Well, It seems some are good some are bad, anyone else testing beta drivers get the same results

    Is flat panel scaling back? The stretching always annoyed me with the 163.75. :O

        Okay so that's why I had a mysterious framerate drop in 2142 from average 35 to 30.

            It seems they returned the 8800x memory leak in one of these drivers, could that have anything to do with it? It's probably the worst thing to happen when you've just taken off in an attack heli in PR, turn in one direction and get 10fps.

            Mate you need an upgrade, I don't even notice 5fps going.

              My brother's hogging the new rig with the 8800GT, so I'm stuck with a Dell E510 with an 7300LE.

                  What resolution? I can barely run 2142 at 1024*768.

                      What's this old flat panel scaling then?

                        the new 169.21 drivers not only boosted my FPS in bf2 by about 5 - 7, but it also fixed the problem I was having where my FPS would go down from 60 to 20 and not go back up until I alt tabbed and went back in.

                          It let you choose between monitor's scaling, nVidia scaling, nVidia scaling + correct aspect ration, or no scaling at all.

                            Yup, i don't even know what scaling is, so that went straight over my head.
