My Aussie Buddy is buying a GFX card, he is stuck between 2 cards!

7600 by a lot, if you have 2GB of ram and a decent CPU a 7600 can do BF2 on high (Mine does anyway)

well, a 7600gt can just about do high. My bro's 7600gs will do all medium with a few on high. But then again, that's 16x PCI-E. So all medium at 1024x768 on a 7600gs.

the 7600 dude, i have the 7600gt but its the xxx version, and i also have pci-e so like alex said you probably have to go with medium settings maybe a few of them on high.
mine runs super though.

BTW 512MB on that card is a waste. Courtesy of the 128 bit memory interface it has trouble making use of 256MB, never mind 512MB. Based on the cards you linked to and how much they are your best best for an AGP card is,

x1650 maybe better im really not sure. but the 512mb really doesnt make a fast card. Im not fimiliar wiht "HIS" products they mabye built good i donno, but i had that same card except mine was made by "sapphire" & i ended up throwin it in trash, it burnt up, but it was good & ran good while i had it.

i've switched to nivida this round & im gonna put the link (at bottom)to the card i have now, its a medium card, but if you like the 7600 this is the xxx and its pretty sweet card. i actually like it better & runs better for me anyway that my x1650pro did.
